Octopuses have long been regarded as one of nature’s most advanced invertebrates. Their defense mechanisms and color-changing abilities are truly remarkable.
This video shows a newly discovered behavior of a “mimic octopus”. This particular variety is able to take the shape of poisonous flatfish and sea snakes in order to defend itself from predators.
Not bad for not having a skeleton.
