Q:So I'm a few months away from starting work on my Undergraduate thesis (biological anthropology on a track to forensic science) and I have no idea where to to even begin to come up with an idea to research! Got any advice for us lowly Undergrads about to tackle the daunting task of writing a thesis?
Start early, keep impeccable notes (I like to use Papers or Evernote for this), edit ruthlessly, edit again after that, and don’t be afraid to rewrite your rewrites. Get lots of eyes on it.
As for ideas? Read The Poisoner’s Handbook and then see if you get any inspiration. It’s a cool book about the beginnings of modern forensic science.
