X-Ray Laser Produces 3.6 Million Degree Plasma
In case you’re counting at home, that’s a new record. How hot? It’s even hotter than the sun’s corona.
Or to put it another way, if the hottest day ever on Earth represented one inch, this laser’s temperature record would be almost one mile.
