Q:So We had a client come into work today saying that the Moon, Jupiter, and Venus are going to aline tonight. When I googled about it the date was last weekend. I was wondering because when I looked through our telescope at home last night, Venus, Jupiter, and the Moon were close. So what's the deal in the universe tonight?
You’re right that your client is a bit late. But all is not lost.
Venus and Jupiter are still close to one another in the western sky, with Venus being the brighter of the two. The Moon, however has made its way over to the east, where it can be seen next to Mars just after dusk. Look for it tomorrow during Wednesday’s full moon.

You know, I’d been noticing them for the past week or two, and wondering if they were brighter than normal, or if it was just me. Once you know what you’re looking for, they’re very distinct.
