Physics of a Falling Batman You know science loves to analyze/buzzkill your favorite comic book movie moments. Usually, though, they don’t do it in a journal. Granted, the journal of Physics Special Topics isn’t exactly a real journal, but nevertheless I recommend perusing their table of contents. That didn’t stop a group of physicists from calculating the flight dynamics of Batman as he glides using his cape. Check it out. Hint: It wouldn’t end well for Batman.
