Nom nom nom ! Me cytotoxic T cell! Imma eat you, diseased and/or infected cell! I will use my T cell receptors to sniff you out, I will! Each of us killer T cells have receptors that are specific to one type of molecule that the immune system doesn’t like. Mine say I don’t like YOU, antigen-presenting cell. You just hold da antigen up there in your MHC molecule on the surface like big red flag that says “Hey you hungry killer T cell, you needa come EAT ME” and dat’s just what I’ll do. I ready to kill!

Might have virus or bacteria inside you or you may be cancer and body wants to get rid of you like old Chinese take-out in back of fridge! I crawl up with big belly full of proteins that I spit at you and turn your cell membrane to Swiss cheese. I no let you die honorable death, instead I set off self-destruct time bomb of apoptosis inside you and you die from inside out. I cold-hearted like that.

Me cytotoxic T cell, and me so bad-ass that they named guy from A-Team after me … “Mr. something”, me forget. Scientists try to give me superpowers so I can pick out cancer cell and kill it without hurting rest of cell, like ninja.
