Q:I'm sorry if you've done this already but maybe you could link to something from a really solid source I could send my dad about climate change. I saw him the other day and he was watching fox news and he asked me if I believe in climate change, as if it were as fabricated as santa claus.
The first thing you have to know about climate skeptics is that changing their mind is very, very hard. If your dad is a conservative white male, it’s even harder. Seriously, it’s almost impossible. College degrees actually make them more rigid in their denial, thanks to confirmation bias being strengthened by their peers and by their education level.

Second … and this is a huge bite to chew through … the single best resource to send to climate skeptics is How to Talk to a Climate Skeptic. I can’t stress that enough. Almost any argument against climate change and global warming can be refuted there.
