Not only are frogfish some of the ocean’s best disguise artists, they have some pretty amazing evolutionary adaptations when it comes to eating.
This is a high speed video, shot at 1000 frames per second, that shows a frogfish extending its mouthparts out to surround its prey, creating an enormous suction cannon that literally sucks the food into its gullet.
